Father’s Day celebration at the VNA

VNA Lowell Residents Singing Group are Alice Pearson, Ellen Rimkus, Clare Sullivan, Theresa Carrolle, Lillian Osborne, Rosemary List, Jan Kelly, Toni K. and Rita Barry.

A Pre-Father's Day celebration took place Friday afternoon at the VNA located on Lowell St. Residents enjoyed lunch with entertainment by the singing group, "VNA Lowell Residents Singing Group".

One resident was chosen to be Father of the Day; his name is Mr. Joseph "Joe" McGrath. Joe is 87 years old, he is a lawyer that lived in Washington D.C. before moving to the VNA at 259 Lowell St. He is a World War II veteran, and was a Parachuter. He moved here to be closer to his daughter who lives close by.

The event was organized by Ms. Rosann Racaza, Activities at the VNA 259 Lowell Street.
