A busy Davis Square Goodwill is looking better after being hit with $110,000 in flood damages in March.

The store will celebrate new floor coverings and fixtures at a ceremony Tuesday, June 22 with U.S. Rep. Michael Capuano expected to attend.

Of eleven stores in eastern and central Massachusetts, the Somerville Goodwill is the second busiest for shoppers and donors. The store also employs 23 people, including workers who have had barriers to employment and are re-entering the workforce, said James Harder the store's director of communications.

"The store did stay open during the renovations, but to celebrate the new look and to say thanks to the Somerville community for years of support, we're having a grand re-opening from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, June 22," Harder said.
