Sunsetters in full summer swing
Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone said today he has revived another Somerville summer pastime.
After bringing back other summer mainstays Curtatone has returned the Sunsetters, a group of local children who entertain with song and dance, to the city after a 20 year absence.
"I remember the delight of the Sunsetters from my childhood and I wanted to bring back a tried and true Somerville institution. They are performing different songs now, but they still give you the same wonderful feeling.
"Everyone loved them then and they still love them today because of the smiles they bring to audiences’ faces. We encourage everyone to go and experience such a wonderful night out," he said.
