Police officer passes

Robert R. Bradley announced today the passing of Detective Daniel J. Ryan Jr.

"Detective Ryan died early this morning, ending his battle with cancer. He served the City of Somerville honorably since January 5, 1976. May he rest in peace," he said.

Bradley said funeral arrangements are not complete at this time.
