News issues apology for haste

The Somerville News wishes to retract its story, “Mayor places new resident on ‘no call’ list.”  The story was based on an email received by the editorial staff from an individual who wished to remain anonymous.  Quotes were derived solely from this information source and it was published before it could be verified and before comment from the administration was obtained.  We regret the haste in which the story was published on this web log and sincerely apologize to Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and his administration.
