Somerville police seized nearly two ounces of cocaine Monday afternoon from two Boston men seconds after they stepped into Good Time Emporium in Assembly Square.

  Ronnie D. Perry, 22, of 63 Charles St., Boston and Paul Thompson, 21, of 122 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Boston, were each arrested for trafficking in cocaine and possession of a firearm without a license after they allegedly walked into the local sports bar with 46.7 grams of cocaine in their possession.
  Based on information they had developed, detectives from the Somerville Police Department‚Äôs Drug Control Unit set up a surveillance on Good Time Emporium looking for a black four door Mercury Sable with window tint that Perry and Thompson allegedly used to facilitate their cocaine operation.
  At approximately 4:10 p.m., Perry and Thompson arrived together at the parking lot in the Mercury Sable detectives were looking for, police said. Perry and Thompson allegedly matched the descriptions police had been given of the two drug suspects.
  When the two men entered ‚ÄúNew England‚Äôs largest indoor amusement center,‚Äù two Somerville detectives identified themselves as police. Hearing the police identification, Perry attempted to flee on foot and Thompson reached into his pants pocket, police said. Thompson‚Äôs movement was neutralized and Perry was apprehended after a brief struggle, police said.
  When Thompson‚Äôs left hand was removed from his pocket, police allegedly seized 10 individually packaged bags of cocaine from his clenched fist. A search of Perry revealed two bags of cocaine, police said. A preliminary weight of the cocaine seized was 46.7 grams, almost two ounces, police said. A search of the motor vehicle Perry and  Thompson arrived in, allegedly turned up three rounds of ammunition and five cellular telephones.
