Teens get off the streets thanks to the Somerville Homeless Coalition’s vigilant efforts to rid the 18-24 year olds of bad habits.

Case Managers work with young adults to help them get back on their feet and regain their inner voice. Many of the teens that come through the program have substance abuse issues that need to be addressed. Caseworkers find them a suitable housing situation, a job and offer them advice on how to move in a positive direction.

While the economy has taken a toll on the coalitions resources they say that managing is what they do best. Not every person that comes through the door can be helped but many have been assisted through the program.
