Join the City of Somerville this Sunday, as the heat wave breaks, for our second event in the 2011 SomerStreets series, complete with live music, farmers’ market, outdoor yoga and dance demonstrations, sandcastle building, food from local restaurants, open house and family swim at the YMCA,  arts and crafts and family-friendly activities for children and adults of all ages.

SomerStreets is the City’s Open Streets Initiative, which closes sections of roadways one Sunday per month to promote and support active living – walking, biking, running, dancing, etc.

With the heat wave set to break on Sunday, this is the perfect opportunity to get out of the A/C and enjoy the fair weather!
WHEN:
Sunday, July 24th, noon – 4:00 p.m.

Highland Avenue from Walnut Street to Cedar Street (street will be closed to vehicle traffic)
