Car accident Saturday night involves a Somerville Police cruiser

Police cruiser 187 was involved in a car accident with a white Honda
(shown below) Saturday night at the intersection of Broadway and North
Street.

At the time of the accident, car 187 was driven by
officer Stephen Jones. Jones and the other driver were both a bit
bruised and banged up, they were transported to an area hospital where
they were both treated and released. The cause of the accident is still
under investigation.
