Hero of World War II honored

Monday on Patriots Day the city of Somerville honored another hero of World War II, Chief Daniel (Bill) Foley served in the Pacific Front, he served his country until the end of the war. The City of Somerville honored him and his service with a dedication of Wellington Avenue and Walnut Streets as the Daniel Foley Square. A large crowd of family, friends and neighbors turned out for the ceremony. Mayor Joe Curtatone gave a nice presentation along with a biography done by Alderman Bill Roche.
