Shots Fired
25010429: On 2/25/25 at approximately 12:05 a.m. Somerville Police responded to the area of Broadway and Alewife Brook Parkway for a report of shots fired. On scene, officers recovered several shell casings. Investigation is ongoing at this time.
 

Assault
25010085: On 2/23/25 at approximately 2:01 a.m., Somerville Police responded to Nashua St for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was at a business on Broadway and was punched in the face by a bouncer. The victim suffered injuries to his eye and nose.
 
Residential Breaking and Entering
25009680: On 2/21/25 at approximately 1:25 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Paulina St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the residents who stated they left the apartment to watch a hockey game and when they returned, observed the apartment in disarray. Nothing was reported missing.
 
Residential Breaking and Entering
25010202: On 2/23/25 at approximately 7:48 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Walnut St for report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was in his room and heard his dog barking. He then observed a male party inside the apartment who then fled out a window. The victim reported a small container with loose change and jewelry was stolen.
