Somerville restaurant June Bug is one winner of an eating spot.
In fact, they were just crowned “The Best of Somerville: Winner of Best Pizza.”
Therefore, be sure to try their awesome “naturally-leavened pizza.”
Interestingly, “June Bug is a new concept from the team at [the restaurant] Field & Vine. The food follows the same philosophy, and [it] is sourced locally and in-season. The cuisine is casual – with emphasis on the beautiful Maine-built wood fire oven. We cook naturally-leavened pizzas, fun salads, wood fire-roasted veggies and more,” according to their website.
Besides reserving a table at this small eatery, which is located at 251 Washington St., large party and event booking is available, as well as semi-private or private dining.
Purchase gift cards for any occasion via June Bug’s website.
Log onto their website at https://www.junebugrestaurant.com/, or contact them at 617-718-0569 if you have any questions.
The restaurant is open for dinner on Mondays to Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursdays to Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
So, in addition to amazing pizza, it’s time to eat or drink delicious “Maria’s Flan,” “Sourdough Brownie” or an ice cream “Scoop du Jour” at June Bug. Let your tastebuds party.
