Cozy Arts is celebrating the release of its newest Cozy Corner album with a free family event.
Join Max, Trudy, and little Rory for a movement-based singalong followed by art making with Mrs. Flutterby and friends. Take-home resources include free downloadable music and an accompanying coloring songbook. Appropriate for ages 3+.
Cozy Corner SingAlong is part of Cozy Arts’ ongoing commitment to thoughtful family programming through its Signature Puppet Program, Cozy Corner. Cozy Arts’ productions address social emotional growth (feelings, friendship, fairness), community-building, and are sensory friendly.
Funded by the Somerville Arts Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
Cozy Arts is dedicated to creating original puppet productions and educational resources that invite children, and their adults, to cultivate trusting relationships, welcoming communities, and a healthy planet. Founded in Somerville in 2018, they believe that children of all backgrounds and abilities have feelings that matter and capacities that can change the world. Together with children, educators and families, our Cozy Corner productions and resources explore how nurturing kindness, empathy and justice transforms lives.
At Cozy Arts, they strive to weave access into our work at every step, from concept and scripting to productions and resources. Our themes, characters and stories are designed with physical, functional and social access in mind with the goal that everyone can feel at home with Cozy Arts.
Saturday, October 5, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 10:15 a.m. 149 Broadway, Somerville.
