This Thursday, the Somerville Democratic City Committee will hold a debate between Erika Uyterhoeven and Kathleen Hornby, who are both competing for the Democratic Party nomination for State Representative in the 27th Middlesex District. The debate will be held at the John F. Kennedy School Auditorium (5 Cherry St. Somerville, MA) from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday August 8. All are welcome to join this event to hear from the candidates seeking to represent Somerville on Beacon Hill. A brief reception and refreshments will be provided and guests are welcome and encouraged to join at 6:30 p.m.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance here: https://www.somdems.org/sdcc_aug_meeting_and_rep_debate
As there is no independent or Republican candidate on the ballot in this race, the winner of the primary will run unopposed in November.
