This week’s ‘Slice of the City’ spring meet-up series

The ‘Slice of the City’ spring meet-up series is an opportunity to connect and engage with City leaders and staff as well as neighbors, all while enjoying Somerville’s parks. The series continues this  week with a meet-up in Ward 3.

Ward 3 includes North Union Square, Prospect Hill, Spring Hill, Central Hill, and more. Not sure what ward you live in? Use the My Somerville lookup tool to find out.

All events run from 5 to 7 p.m. Pizza and refreshments will be served, and Somerville Recreation will have activities for children available. In the event of inclement weather, rain locations will be announced via the City’s communication channels.

 

WARD 3, Monday, May 20, 5 p.m.: Join Mayor Ballantyne, Ward 3 Councilor Ben Ewen-Campen, At-Large Councilors, and City Staff at Prospect Hill Park, 68 Munroe Street.

May 28 Ward 2 
Lincoln Park 290 Washington Street (near Argenziano School entrance)

 

May 16: Ward 5 – POSTPONED 
Ward 5 Slice of the City event has been postponed due to weather.  The new date will be posted once the meeting is rescheduled.

    The slice of the city meetings are a great idea. it would be good, however, if the city would announce things like ward 5 being cancelled before folks show up to see the sign that says it is cancelled.
