Somerville Police officer Ozzy Martinez became ill from the Covid-19 virus in March of 2020. After a month in a coma, he emerged facing heart, lung and kidney problems, including chronic kidney disease. Recently, his kidney functions dropped, putting him in urgent need of a Living donor for a kidney transplant.

The Somerville Police Department stands with Martinez for his many years of service to our community, and is working to help find him a living donor. If you are interested in becoming his donor or know someone who could be a potential donor, please contact the Somerville Police Department.
