On 2/23/24 at approximately 2:18 p.m., Somerville Police responded to an apartment on Memorial Rd. to assist DYS officers with a juvenile male who cut his GPS bracelet off. Officers were given consent to search the apartment and located a loaded firearm inside.

 

On 2/24/24 at approximately 2:03 p.m., Somerville Police responded to Assembly Row for a suspicious male attempting to break into vehicles. Upon arrival, officers located the male party based on a witness description. Officers then searched the suspect and found him in possession of a knife as well as numerous stolen items that were taken out of several vehicles in the area. Officers then placed the male suspect under arrest.
